I still remember when they were opening a Hooters here in Austin. I was 18 or so - and had just moved away from home and hadn't seen much of the world yet.
The restaurant wasn't officially open, but I think they were "advertising" a bit.
Two sides of the restaurant were glass. A bunch of waitresses, scantily dressed, were standing on the inside "washing" the windows.
A crowd of men was gathered around outside watching - mesmerized by the "view".
I couldn't decide whether it was the one of the funniest or saddest things I'd seen.
